And another weekend comes to a close. Although it really wasn't much of a weekend when you gotta work all weekend. I had to work at 7 in the morning but you know me that didn't stop me from going out! It was a fabulous evening. I went to Wenzels World for the first time. It's a new bar in Manitowoc that a guy from the Happy Schnapps owns. If you don't know who the Happy Schnapps are, well you're missing out. They are the best bear drinking, polka playing band EVER!! Well in their bar they have swings! Yup they looked pretty fun and cool but I didn't get to swing :( because they were all full. I'm pretty sure if I swung when I was drunk I would get sick too. Maybe it's not the best combination to have in a bar? But it is still pretty sweet. My friend who just got engaged, fiance, loves the Happy Schnapps and they were talking about playing for their wedding! Who knew they did weddings?!? How fun would that be?
So we went looking at some houses today! It was super exciting. I could really just go around and look at houses all day! They're are so many different variations and styles it's awesome! I would love to look at the pretty fancy expensive houses but they're not in Ryan's price range. The first two houses were duds. Ryan could barely stand in them and he literally couldn't stand upright in the basements. He determined that having a nice basement with a bar is pretty much a necessity. So there was one that was really cool when you walked in. Old fashoned with french doors and window seats. Totallly my kind of house! But the basement sucked and Ryan has time so he's going to be picky. There was one that was a maybe. It has a awesome basement with a bar and an organ. My mom was pretty excited about the organ. Every house we looked at had a piano in, I thought it was pretty cool too!
So I was looking for my flip flops EVERYWHERE and I couldn't find them and it really pissed me off. I thought they were in my car and when i went to look in there I smashed my head on the trunk and it still hurts, yea I have a bump. Then later at the bar Jill was like "Hey I have your flip flops!" No wonder I couldn't find them! Apparently they blended in with her car and she didn't notice them.
Since I only got 3 hours of sleep I'm going to bed now. Nightly Night!!

Following the Crowd
So since all the cool kids are doing it I thought why not? I'll give blogging a try and see how long I acutally keep up with it.
It all started when I just had to read JKFlutterFriends blog when I went to visit my loves in RF. So if this is boring and lame blame Joy and Kat.
Oh what a fun-filled weekend I had indeed! I will just share some of the funny stories from the trip. Well since we had the lil dude along we were talking about babies a lot. Well Tiffany was talking about how she was born as a green baby and someone asked why was that? Well Cindy-Mom replies with well she was getting all moldy sitting in there for so long! We were also talking about how long Ethan was and Sam was telling us how MJ (Ed's mom) was saying how Ed was long all over. Well we were just sitting there when Cindy-Mom just bursts out laughing and we all just kind of look at her and are thinking what is so funny about that? She says "Well what kind of mother says that about her son?" And we start laughing uncontrollably because honestly whose mother takes that statement in that context?!?
We went dress shopping for my future sister-in-laws wedding dress. She made number cards for us to rate her on what dress we liked on her from 1-10 (I can't wait to go out with them so everyone can rate the guys I try to flirt with) It was tons a fun and she found the perfect dress, the last one she tried on! She looked beautiful and was simply glowing. I cannot wait to celebrate the big day with them! Except that apparently I have to make a speech or something like that.
So since it's me and I was in River Falls we went out. Well you can kinda gathered what happened from Kat's blog on friday night... Now on Saturday Mike "insists" that we go out, so naturally I comply. Well it's a long walk from Casey's house to downtown, so we had to stop at the closest bar which happens to be "The Corner". Well we order a beer and are sitting at the bar, not much going on. Well some people set a almost full drink on the bar by us and then walk out. Well then a whle later another person did the same thing with their drink. Mike points out that those people aren't going to come back. Well you can't just let plain ole good alcohol go to waste so I said we should probablly drink them. So we downed our new found drinks, downed our beers and moved to where everyone knows your name, Mels. Casey and Tim were thankfully holding onto some bar seats for us. Well this guy starts talking to me and then he starts to ask for my number and I plain out tell him, it's not going to work. I tell him I don't live here and we would be too far away. He then trys to persuade me that he can live anywhere and he's not orginally from RF blah, blah, blah. So then I tell him that he's most likely too short for me anyways... Well he needless to say he did not take that very well.
So lots of good things happened over the weekend. Also my friend got engaged in Vegas and another friend had a beautiful baby boy!! :)
